Called Verizon yesterday to switch to a different plan

I called VZW yesterday cause I wanted to talk to someone about a Family Share loyalty plan that offered 550 minutes and no texting options.  I've spoken to reps about it before, but never pulled the trigger because of the lack of texting included.  So, the guy I get in a rather rude way, tries to tell me he's never heard of this plan and that he can't help me.  He said he sees no such plan and that he wouldn't know who to transfer me to, because that plan doesn't exist.  I went on to tell him that I've spoken to reps about it before and I started quoting specific details of the plan to him.  I asked if I needed to call back and talk to another rep.  He said that wouldn't help because the plan doesn't exist.

So... I called back 5 minutes later, entered a slightly different maze of combination of call queue numbers and ended up easily switching to the Family Share 550 plan.

Too bad I didn't get the first rep's name.  Would have loved to call him back.
